UFASO Celebrates a Successful Job and Study Fair 2025

The Uganda-France Alumni Society (UFASO) proudly looks back on the success of the Job and Study Fair 2025, held on March 15th at the International French School Kampala. This vibrant event brought together France Alumni, young professionals, and students eager to explore educational and career opportunities within the Francophone network.

The UFASO stand became a true hub of engagement, where alumni reconnected, shared their experiences, and strengthened the spirit of community. Many took the opportunity to register on the France Alumni platform, further integrating into a dynamic professional network. Discussions were lively, with alumni exchanging insights on how their time in France shaped their careers and aspirations.

One of the standout moments of the day was the inspiring testimony of Patrick Bujingo, an alumnus of Montpellier Business School, who doubles as the UFASO president and founder of Don Swift Recruitment Company. He shared how his master’s studies in France equipped him with the skills and vision to launch his now prominent firm. Observing that many companies struggled to find the right employees, he applied his expertise in business strategy and recruitment to bridge this gap. His journey from a student in France to a successful entrepreneur in Uganda deeply resonated with many attendees, offering a real-life example of how French education can translate into impactful career success.

Beyond individual success stories, the event also strengthened the UFASO community. Attendees learned more about the association’s objectives and the opportunities it offers for professional growth and networking. The upcoming Annual General Meeting was a key point of discussion, with alumni encouraged to take on leadership roles to further develop the association’s mission.

Throughout the day, alumni also interacted with representatives from top French companies in Uganda, gaining valuable insights into career opportunities and industry trends. Recruiters and executives shared advice on navigating the job market, emphasizing the advantages of having a French academic background in today’s global economy.

As UFASO continues to grow, this event reaffirmed the importance of staying connected and leveraging the power of the alumni network. The spirit of Francophonie Month was truly celebrated—not just as a cultural event, but as a moment of professional inspiration and collaboration.

A heartfelt thank you to The French Embassy in Uganda and to you all who participated and contributed to this success! We look forward to more engagements and opportunities to connect, inspire, and thrive together.
